This program is addressed to researchers of any nationality and professional situation needing financial and travel support to attend the ICIAM 2027 Congress. Grants will be awarded by the Grant Committee.

Please note that this financial support will only cover a portion of the costs to attend ICIAM 2027. The majority of the costs remain the responsibility of the participants.

Preference will be given to applicants who plan to present a poster or are invited to speak during a mini symposium.

THE GRANT COVERS

The exact amount of the grant will range from EUR 500 and EUR 1,000. The exact amount will be confirmed at the time of notification in mid-January 2027.  Please note that the approved financial support will be paid to the recipient after the ICIAM 2027 Congress has concluded.

REGISTRATION
All grant recipients must register and pay the registrations fee before 9 February 2027.

DEADLINES
Deadlines are midnight Central Europe Time Zone (CET)

  • Grant application deadline: 7 December 2026
  • Call for Abstracts deadline: 7 December 2026
  • Registration deadline for grant recipients: 9 February 2027

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE
Notification of final decisions: mid-January 2027.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

Please ensure you have a digital copy of the following before you start the application process:

  • Personal data (full name, nationality and email address) and professional data (work center, department, company/institution, address, city and country).
  • A brief statement describing your (scientific) interests and specific goals or expectations for attending ICIAM 2027 (max 300 words). This should include whether you did not qualify for grants from other sources, or that your application was rejected (PDF Format).
  • Recommendation letter from your supervisor / specialist in Industrial and Applied Mathematics including their full professional contact data (PDF format).
  • Proof of enrolment in a PhD or graduate program at the time of ICIAM 2027 (July 2027) (PDF format).
