We invite you to contribute to the scientific program of the 11th International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM 2027). Your contribution plays an important role in shaping a diverse and high-quality program, and we strongly encourage submissions from across the community.
For ICIAM 2027, contributions can be made in one of two formats:
- A Mini Symposium Proposal
or
- A Poster Presentation Abstract
To ensure broad participation, each participant is limited to submitting one proposal/abstract for the congress. It is not possible to submit and/or participate in both a Mini Symposium and a Poster Presentation. The submission system is configured accordingly.
Therefore, if you are interested in submitting for ICIAM 2027, please read the below information carefully, so you can select the appropriate submission portal.
Submitting a Mini Symposium Proposal
A Mini Symposium consists of a coordinated set of talks on a focused topic in industrial and applied mathematics. Proposals are submitted by the organizers, who are responsible for defining the topic and inviting speakers.
Each Mini Symposium Proposal must be submitted by one of the organizers, who acts as the contact person. Each Mini Symposium must have at least 2 and at most 3 organizers.
When preparing your proposal, please ensure that you provide:
- A clear and specific title of the Mini Symposium (maximum 15 words).
- A short description (maximum 300 words) outlining the topic, its relevance, and scope.
- A complete list of organizers/speakers, including their email addresses.
Please note the following additional requirements:
- Each Mini Symposium must include exactly 4 or 8 speakers (four or eight). Any number of speakers other than 4 or 8 is not allowed.
- The person completing the form will be considered a speaker and the organizer of the Mini Symposium.
- It is allowed to be a co-author on multiple submissions, but not to be a presenter of more than one Mini Symposium or Poster Presentation.
- If a Mini Symposium Proposal is accepted, the confirmed speakers are required to submit an abstract at a later stage.
Timeline
- The deadline to submit a proposal is 7 December 2026 (23:59 CET).
- Decision and notification of acceptance / rejection of proposals is scheduled for mid January 2027.
- If a proposal for a mini symposium is accepted, the speakers are required to submit an abstract before the end of February 2027 (exact deadline to be confirmed later).
Submitting a Poster Presentation Abstract
A Poster Presentation provides an opportunity to present research results in an interactive format and is an important component of the scientific program.
Each Poster Presentation Abstract must be submitted by the presenting author.
When preparing your abstract, please ensure that you provide:
- A clear and specific title of the Poster Presentation (maximum 15 words).
- A short abstract (maximum 200 words) outlining the content and relevance of the work.
Please note the following additional requirements:
- Each Poster Presentation may only have one presenting author.
- The presenting author may submit only one abstract.
- It is allowed to be a co-author on multiple submissions, but not to be a presenter of more than one Poster or Mini Symposium Presentation.
Timeline
- The deadline to submit an abstract is 7 December 2026 (23:59 CET).
- Decision and notification of acceptance / rejection of proposals is scheduled for mid January 2027.
